TZD Star Awards Nomination

The Toward Zero Deaths Star Awards are given to recognize excellence in enforcement, emergency medical and trauma services, education, engineering, child passenger safety, and judicial/courts. Award recipients have demonstrated exceptional creativity, leadership, and organizational skills and the ability to successfully motivate and collaborate with others in efforts to move toward zero deaths on Minnesota’s roads.

Guidelines

  • Nomination deadline: Friday, July 27, 2012, at 5:00 p.m.
  • Nominees must be individuals. Organizations cannot be nominated for the award.
  • Nominations are sought in the categories of enforcement, emergency medical and trauma services, education, engineering, child passenger safety, and judicial/court systems. TZD Leadership will choose a media recipient.
  • Nominees must be from the state of Minnesota.
  • You may submit more than one nomination.
  • Nominations will be reviewed and selected by a TZD Award Subcommittee.
  • Nominees are not required to have connections to the TZD organization. If a nominee does have ties to TZD, please share them in the nomination form.
  • All winners will be notified by Friday, September 7, 2012. The award will be presented at the 2012 TZD conference. Award winners are encouraged to attend. TZD will pay for the award winner’s conference registration fee and hotel room costs.
