Kathy Swanson Outstanding Service Award Nomination

The Kathy Swanson Outstanding Service Award recognizes an individual who has shown exceptional leadership in efforts to improve traffic safety in Minnesota, build partnerships, and mentor others in the field. This individual will also have demonstrated a long-term passion, dedication, and commitment to reducing the number of deaths and injuries resulting from crashes on Minnesota roads.

Guidelines

• Nomination deadline: Friday, July 2nd, 2010, at 5:00 p.m.
• Nominees must be individuals. Organizations cannot be nominated for the award.
• Nominations are sought in the categories of enforcement, emergency medical and trauma services, education, engineering, child passenger safety, and judicial/court systems. TZD Leadership will choose a media recipient.
• Nominees must be from the state of Minnesota.
• You may submit more than one nomination.
• Nominations will be reviewed and selected by a TZD Award Subcommittee.
• Nominees are not required to have connections to the TZD organization. If a nominee does have ties to TZD, please share them in the nomination form.
• All winners will be notified by Friday, August 27, 2010. The award will be presented at the TZD conference, to be held October 25-26, 2010, at the Crowne Plaza in downtown St. Paul. Awards winners are encouraged to attend. TZD will pay for the award winner’s conference registration fee and hotel room costs.
