Statewide Toward Zero Deaths Conference

About the Conference

2020 TZD Conference

Mark your calendar for the 2020 TZD Conference, scheduled for October 20-21, 2020, in Duluth, Minnesota. More information will be added as it becomes available.

The conference will still occur as scheduled on October 20–21, 2020. We have no plans to cancel or postpone the conference at this time, but we will be closely monitoring all developments related to COVID-19. Minnesota TZD is following the latest guidance from state health officials and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as it relates to participation in our events. The health and safety of our participants, presenters, and staff is our top priority.

This conference provides a forum for sharing information on best practices in engineering, enforcement, education, and emergency medical/health services and for identifying new approaches to reducing the number of traffic fatalities and life-changing injuries on Minnesota roads.

The conference is offered by the Minnesota Toward Zero Deaths Program and the Minnesota Departments of Public Safety, Transportation, and Health. The conference is hosted by the University of Minnesota's Center for Transportation Studies and facilitated by the College of Continuing and Professional Studies.
