About the Conference

At this time, the 2021 Minnesota Toward Zero Deaths (TZD) annual conference is scheduled to be held on October 13–14, 2021, at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, Minnesota.

While we hope to be able to gather in person in the fall, Minnesota TZD will continue to monitor COVID-19 developments. The dates and format of the event may change if current conditions and guidelines do not allow us to convene safely.

Updated information will be posted here as it becomes available.

Call for Presentations

No matter what form the 2021 conference takes, the event planning committee would like your input on presentation and topic ideas. To submit an idea, please complete the online form by end of day Friday, March 26.

If you are interested in joining the 2021 TZD conference planning committee, or if you prefer to submit your idea via email, please contact Linda Dolan at ldolan@umn.edu.

The conference is offered by the Minnesota Toward Zero Deaths Program and the Minnesota Departments of Public Safety, Transportation, and Health. The conference is hosted by the University of Minnesota's Center for Transportation Studies and facilitated by the College of Continuing Education.
