2025 Traffic Safety Day at MOA®

About the Event

Minnesota TZD, led by the Dakota County coalition, and MnDOT celebrated more than 20 years of working to improve road safety in Minnesota at this event! Held in the Huntington Bank Rotunda at Mall of America, the event aimed to present road safety concerns and ideas to many of the 85,000 people from around the state that were projected to visit the mall that day. 

Exhibitors covered many aspects of traffic safety, and frequent stage presentations highlighted topics such as impaired driving, first responders, school bus safety, and the effects of aging on older drivers. Key attractions included the seat belt convincer and rollover persuader, a CarFit demonstration, and other law enforcement vehicles and displays. In addition, the rotunda's 24-foot video wall continuously displayed road safety messages, video clips, and sponsor acknowledgments. 

Major event funding was provided by a range of corporate and nonprofit groups. These included AAA, AARP, and Walser Auto.
