About the Event
Reminder — there will not be a TZD annual conference in 2026. In its place, we recommend attending the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) 2026 Annual Meeting! This event provides access to the nation’s top roadway safety, government, business, nonprofit, and community leaders across a range of educational and social events.
To register, book accommodations, view the agenda, and more, visit the official GHSA 2026 Annual Meeting event page. If costs are prohibitive to attendance, view the funding opportunities below.
Event Funding Opportunities
There are 100 funding opportunities available for eligible applicants, each covering the cost of registration and up to four nights at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. Recipients are responsible for all other expenses, including parking, mileage, and any meals not covered by the registration fee. If hotel rooms are not needed by all of the initial 100 recipients, remaining funds may be used to select additional participants.
Before applying, please review the eligibility requirements carefully to ensure you qualify.
Deadlines and Selection Process
Applications received by July 10 will be prioritized by eligibility groups, and then by submission date. If awards remain available after July 10, applications will be reviewed in the order received, regardless of priority group.
