TIM Training

Why Take TIM Training?

Incident responders across the country put their lives at risk every time they’re dispatched on our roadways. Reducing the risk means preventing secondary crashes. A traffic incident training program developed through the USDOT’s Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is helping to clear crashes more quickly—and save lives among responders and the traveling public in the process. This training initiative aims to provide TIM training opportunities in every US state.

Online Training

Online TIM training is available from the FHWA's National Highway Institute and the Responder Safety Learning Network.
