Over the past 18 months, the Minnesota experience of dramatically reduced vehicle-miles traveled coupled with a dramatic increase in vehicle speeds (coupled with other poor driving choices) has resulted in a significant increase in fatal crashes. Regrettably, this same experience is occurring across the country and across the world.
How will the Minnesota TZD program change? In this webinar, attendees heard recommendations from the year-long TZD 2.0 project, which included a reassessment of the program's structure and data analysis, as well as what TZD stakeholders identified as strengths and challenges of the current program. It also provided an opportunity to react to proposed changes and share further input before recommendations are finalized.
